BIOGRAPHY: Appeared in 13 games last season, starting four and finished with 56 tackles, five tackles for loss and one interception. Utility linebacker as a junior posting 18 tackles while also seeing action at fullback. Sophomore totals included 29 tackles.

POSITIVES: Athletic linebacker best in the box or up the field. Plays disciplined football, quickly recognizes the action and works hard to get involved. Shows a good head for the game, gets his teammate in proper position and forceful up the field.

NEGATIVES: Does not consistently take good angles to the action, lacks lateral speed and wastes motion. Does not get depth on pass drops nor does he show much range in coverage.

ANALYSIS: Williams is a solid athlete who saw limited playing time at USC due to the great linebacker talent on the roster. He offers enough skill to be brought into as a developmental prospect. Williams has a special-teams mentality which could help him find a job.
