BIOGRAPHY: All-Conference selection last season after posting 97/3/6 in his first year as a full-time starter. Totaled 82 tackles as a sophomore when he started a single game.

POSITIVES: Explosive run-defending safety who plays with terrific speed. Quick up the field, flies around the football, and works hard to defend the run. Lays his shoulders into opponents and goes for the knockout blow. Possesses a nice break to the throw as well as a burst of closing speed. Displays excellent sideline-to-sideline range and the speed to recover.

NEGATIVES: Inefficient, takes poor angles to the action, and wastes a lot of motion. Displays average cover and ball skills defending the pass.

ANALYSIS: Morgan is a solid athlete who plays with great suddenness and seemingly comes from nowhere to make the tackle. He offers a good degree of upside, yet he must improve his coverage skills as well as the details of his game.
